A COMPLETE RENOVATION OF A PERIOD KITCHEN INTO A MODERN AND FUNCTIONAL DESIGN

Phase 1 of the Abercorn Street Project consisted of renovating a period kitchen into a more modern, functional design, including a wall removal and combining the butler pantry and the kitchen space. The stainless steel countertops and backsplash were protected and kept in the new design. All interior walls were repainted where applicable, and the original wallpaper was preserved. The master bath was reconfigured to a more modern layout by absorbing space from an existing closet and included new fixtures and heated floors. All wood flooring was refinished throughout the home, and energy upgrades were included in the project.

Phase II consisted of creating a summer kitchen from an existing garage space. Unique finishes include concrete countertops and ipe decking installed as the flooring surface.
